Welcome fellow wanderers!

If you don't already know us, we are Chris and Brandi. We also travel with Mikey, our cat. 

Quick backstory...
We were living in the beautiful Florida Keys in 2019 when Chris suffered a brain hemorrhage. Long story short, he survived and the neurologist told him to live a stress free life. Well, we made it to this point. It was 3 years in February, thankfully! And all he wants to do is hike and be outside.

We ended up leaving the Keys and moving to the South Lake Tahoe area in early 2020 simply for the hiking. Then we bought our 5th wheel and found ourselves traveling more so than being home. We had become half time RV'ers hitting the road for weeks if not months at a time always looking for the epic trails and places less traveled.

Fast forward again, early 2022 our daughter moved back to the keys with our granddaughter so we decided to sell our house and become full time RVers in the Keys to spend as much time with the kids as possible.

Chris is still on the mend and enjoying the semi-retired life (is a construction superintendent by trade) and Brandi also works in the construction industry and currently works remotely. Working remotely allows us to wander off in the RV and seek out those epic hiking trails and paths less traveled. 

A bucket list item for Chris is hiking R2R in the Grand Canyon. We completed this hike the last week of June 2021. We have 6 videos of our 5 night backpacking trip through the Grand Canyon on our YouTube channel: Wandered Off. We hope you join us for this epic hike!

We hope to build a Wandered Off community that empowers others to seek out their adventures and cross off those bucket list items before its too late.
